Magic colors

Students go nuts when teachers know how to get them doing things they have never thought about and that is a perfect opportunity for learning.

Let’s talk MAGIC! It is all about using the coolest techniques to teach the little ones how to have fun while learning.

So, let’s do it!

Material

  • Guache ink of different colors;
  • Transparent bottles with caps;
  • Water;

First, teacher gets guache ink and spread it all around the cap of the bottles before class, so students won’t see them;

Teacher tells students they are going to have a magic class;

Now teacher teaches students the name of the colors;

Students see the bottles full of water but can’t see the ink in the caps;

After teaching the colors, teacher asks students to pick up a bottle and “magically” shake it.

When doing that, the ink will get in contact with the water in the bottle. Then, “magically”, the water will become colored according to the ink the teacher previously put.

Out loud, choose a student to say the color of the bottle after shaking it.

You can do that again and again, according to the number of bottles you have.
